Josh Baker is from Manchester and came up the honest way: in the queues and basements of Sankeys and The Warehouse Project from sixteen, DJing at sixteen, producing at seventeen. A month in an Ibiza villa at nineteen turned the hobby into the plan.
In 2015 he and three mates started You&Me at Koh Tao, a 150-capacity room in Fallowfield. Ten years later it's a label and an international party that celebrated its birthday at 528 Ibiza. Along the way he co-founded Hide & Seek Festival in Cheshire and the SYNTHO production school. The sound: groove-led house that splits the difference between '90s nostalgia and modern, vocal-driven club records.
2024 broke it open: Beatport's most-sold artist in minimal and deep tech, DJ Mag's Breakthrough Producer, a deal with Three Six Zero. Then "Back It Up" and "You Don't Own Me" with Prospa put him on the UK charts, and "My Place" became the ID crowds sang before it was even out. In 2026, his first Ibiza residency: You&Me, every Thursday on Amnesia's Terraza.
